LIVELIHOOD

We are successfully running “Holistic Rural Development Project-Parivartan” with the support of The HDFC Bank Ltd in aspirational district Begusarai to bring impactful change in the living standard of approx.8500 marginalized and deprived communities through core component (Skill Development and Livelihood Enhancement, Food Security & Income Generation, Natural Resource Management, Healthcare & Sanitation and Promotion of Education). with especial emphasis on sustainable income generation, promotion of farmers-income by applying advanced scientific methods, advanced agricultural toolkits, solar-based irrigation-facility, promotion of intensive vegetable cultivation and other cash crops and high-yielding hybrid seeds, manures, women led enterprises, employment generation youth skill development and promotion of school education through smart class, library and laboratory, learning exhibition, renovation of schools and Anganwadi centres. It also promoted improved health of mothers, children and adolescent girls through health camps, development of Poshan Vatika and adoption of hygiene, use of toilets, safe drinking water etc.
