NIRDESH is a women & child centric social service organization in Bihar established in 1995 dedicated to fostering positive social change and empowering marginalized communities. Committed to the principles of equity, inclusivity, and sustainable development, the foundation operates in sectors such as child education & protection, healthcare, skill development, livelihood and income generation, women's empowerment, infrastructures development, disaster management & relief work and environmental sustainability. The empowerment process of women and children is driven by the developmental programmes viz. holistic rural development, girl child education, child protection, mother and child healthcare, skill development, financial literacy, agricultural-based technology and input supports, individual enterprises and other employment and livelihood initiatives.

Poor people have least access to development and progress services resulting high poverty, high illiteracy, high unemployment, high property inequality, high malnutrition, and high death ratio. To counter these, they need to join in the development framework in key sectors as such
Education
The journey of Educating Girls begins from 1998 running Non-Formal Education Centre in Muzaffarpur district and since then it educated above 25000 girls from rural areas in districts like Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, East Champaran, Madhubani and Patna.
Health, Sanitation and Nutrition
After basic education, it is the skill which enable easy way to drive the developmental chain of progress. Skill not only provides respect and honour but also sustainable income to every individual.

Women Empowerment and Livelihood
In 19’s women conditions were most miserable as their rights have been almost snatched and had been caged in the four walls. They had no access to engage in education, in health services, in economic activities, in social platforms etc.

Protection and welfare is the constitutional rights given to all vulnerable communities including children and we as 5th pillar work to safeguard their rights and facilitate to easy access to get benefits from government welfare schemes.
